Dallas Stars v Los Angeles Kings

Dustin Brown has found scoring success in every level of professional hockey. He totaled 194 points in 178 games for the Guelph Storm in the OHL. He registered 74 points in his only season with the AHL. And just last year, he put up a quiet 33 goals with the L.A. Kings.

Turning only 24 years of age this November, Brown is set to be playing alongside Anze Kopitar on the Kings #1 line. Dustin is versatile enough to play either wing, so the Patrick O’Sullivan holdout should not affect Brown’s status. Brown and Kopitar will be a major force for many years to come.

Brown has shown tremendous progress in his development and statistics. His point totals for his first three seasons in the NHL are 28, 48, and 60 chronologically. With another season under his belt, I fully expect him to put up 35+ goals, while racking up over 70 points this season. His physical style of play (league leading 311 hits) will also ensure a healthy dose of PIMs.

Currently being drafted 111th overall in Yahoo! Fantasy leagues, Brown is the 21st RW selected overall. There is no way guys like Satan/Hejduk/Sykora should be drafted over him. Select him as a solid #2 winger come draft day and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
